Lucy Murphy: Activities Officer

Summer can be an overwhelming time of year. Remember to take it at your own pace and enjoy the time you have. If you’re staying in Leeds over summer, I would recommend going to the ‘stepping stones’ in Burley in Wharfedale. It’s such a great day out with friends where you can swim and be at one with nature. Zero distractions from the real world!

Over the summer I love spending as much time outdoors as possible which helps me to stay mindful. Especially in Yorkshire, there are so many beautiful places to go walking and catch a lovely view! One of my favourite places is Otley Chevin which is really nearby and it has such a beautiful view

LUU Neurodivergent Society Discord Group

Join the LUU Neurodivergent Society group on Discord throughout the summer to stave off loneliness. Chat to others online, arrange meet ups and keep connected. No need to be a member of the Society, just sign up and start get involved.
